This astonishing print is inspired by Nick Walker’s paintings entitled “Handle With Care”. The original artwork, released in 2021 as a series of paintings, is making its comeback as limited edition prints.
The image has a few avenues for interpretation. From one point of view, we can see it as a tribute to idealists who hold optimism for love close to their hearts. On the other hand, the heart can be a ticking bomb waiting to go off if you don’t handle it with care. Love, no matter how beautiful it is, can be a cruel mistress. It can be a blessing or a pain, and no one is more inspired than a wounded or love-drunk artist.
Nick Walker has a brilliant way of visualizing the deep, complex inner workings of the human mind and its connection with matters of the heart, all perfectly wrapped in his brilliant sense of humor.
